Dear Parents,

We have two trips this weekend!

Trip 1: Friday Night, January 30 – Wilmot
(No lessons for this trip)
Trip 2: Sunday, February 1 – Alpine Valley

Weather & Conditions

Friday: 14°F, great conditions. Wilmot has received fresh snow and has been making snow nightly.
Sunday: 26°F and sunny — a perfect ski day

FRIDAY NIGHT – WILMOT
South Bus Stop Only
Pickup & Drop-off Location:
Lyons School
1335 Waukegan Road, Glenview, IL

Drop-off: 4:45 PM
Departure: 5:00 PM sharp
Return: 10:00 PM (arrive for pickup around 9:50 PM)

If we are running late, we will send an email and have your children call or text you.

SUNDAY – ALPINE VALLEY
South Stop – Glenview

Lyons School, 1335 Waukegan Rd
Drop-off: 7:45 AM
Departure: 8:00 AM
Pickup: 5:30 PM (arrive by 5:20 PM)

North Stop – Bannockburn

Montessori Kids Universe, 1171 Half Day Rd
Drop-off: 8:20 AM
Departure: 8:30 AM
Pickup: 5:00 PM (arrive by 4:50 PM)
Note: Buses come from Glenview, so don’t be alarmed if they are not there immediately.

City Stop – Chicago

Olive Garden, 3555 Addison
Offered if there is sufficient participation; we will confirm with parents on Thursday.

Lake Zurich

Costco, Rt 12 & Rt 22
Offered if there is sufficient participation; we will confirm with parents on Thursday.

AT WILMOT

Dedicated Avalanche bag section
Lockers available; unnecessary items should remain on the bus
Dinner: bring your own or purchase at the café
Wilmot is cashless (credit/debit cards & Apple Pay only)
No lessons due to shorter trip duration

AT ALPINE VALLEY

Dedicated Avalanche bag section
Lockers available; unnecessary items should remain on the bus
Lunch: bring your own or purchase at the café
Alpine Valley accepts credit/debit cards, Apple Pay, and cash
Lessons: Morning: all ability levels (resort instructors)
Afternoon: beginner lessons (Avalanche instructors)

Protocols

Children must arrive wearing ski/snowboard boots
Pack shoes/boots for the ride home
All equipment must be brought — no rentals available
Parents must remain available for pickup in case of injury
Children must sit in the same seats on the return bus

Cancellation Policy

Full credit if canceled by Tuesday at 12 PM
To cancel: email [email protected] (no voicemails)
$30 late fee for cancellations through Thursday at midnight
No refunds after Thursday at midnight
All cancellations will be confirmed via email
